Sewer Systems Evolve
Pictured below is a photo of the Deer Island MDC Sewer System in June of 1964, and this essential wastewater management facility is located in Boston, Massachusetts. Furthermore, this vast development of a facility illustrates how far sewer systems evolved in the past millennia.

Furthermore, as helpful as wastewater management facilities are, they pose another environmental threat (on top of the sewage itself) because it requires more land, technology, and chemicals to maintain and operate optimally. With this, as much as sewer technology has evolved, there is always room for improvement.
